Tree in Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden in Santa Barbara
A large evergreen shrub or small tree that grows 15-20 feet tall. It hails from Mexico down into South America.
The bright green leaves are divided into 5-13 toothed leaflets and make a nice foil to the large
clusters of yellow bell-shaped flowers with flared wavy mouths that bloom in the summer and fall. Requires full sun and occasional watering.
